Recent modifications

  • 01/02/01: The 15 data instances (base B) for the phase 2 of the challenge has been added.

  • 29/01/01: New page on the results of the phase 1 of the challenge - in French for the moment) and add the 4 data instances (base Ax) used by the jury to evaluate the programs.

  • 18/10/00: Minor corrections on the dealines.

  • 17/10/00: Minor modifications of the subject and of the example 2 available in the tool fappeval, A CEM constraint related to (i, j) = (5, 6) is added.

  • 18/08/00: Minor modifications of the subject and of the example 1 available in the tool fappeval.
    The error in the example 1:
    • In the line defining the cross polarization CEM constraint between the paths 2 and 3, the value of the difference at the level 4 is now 63 instead of 64. This is done to ensure the monotonie of the values. The related figure is also corrected. The file exemple1.out contained an error for the evaluation at the optimal level, the value k was not correct.
    • A new constraint is added for homogeneity of the formulation. This constraint is not in opposition of other constraints even though it is not often present, i.e. |fi - fj| != Eij ; in addition to |fi - fj| = Eij
    • A complete corrected example is provided within the reviewed French and English reports.
  • 17/08/00: correct a bug when downloading English version of the subject (ps and rtf):
    • the french version was load instead of the English version !
  • 17/07/00: A new participant team from LIA, Univ. d'Avignon has been added.
