Operational Research Development Engineer Position

The Advanced Development Lab at the Xerox Research Centre Europe (Meylan, France) is looking for a development engineer for a one-year appointment. The successful candidate will contribute to ADL development activities in transportation, in particular regarding multi-modal trip planning optimization problems.
Profile
The ideal candidate has a master or a PHD in computer science or operational research. She / he should be comfortable with Object Oriented Programming, relational databases and ORMs and experienced in development involving Distributed Concurrent Systems, management of big data and web services (WSGI, Restful APIs, JSON).
Prior experience with the Python language is required and practice of some mathematical python frameworks such as Numpy, Scipy and also knowledge and practice of agile development methodologies is expected. A background in shortest paths problem or multi-objective optimization will add strength to the candidate application.
She / he should also be comfortable with working in an English-speaking and highly creative environment.
