Position in Operational Research at XRCE

The Advanced Development Lab at the Xerox Research Centre Europe (Meylan, France) is looking for a postdoctoral researcher or a research engineer for a one-year appointment. The successful candidate will contribute to ADL research and development activities in transportation, in particular regarding multi-modal trip planning optimization problems.
Profile
The ideal candidate has a master or a PHD in operational research or computer science. She / he should be comfortable with Object Oriented Programming, algorithm design and experienced in development. A background in shortest path problems or multi-objective optimization will add strength to the candidate application.
Prior experience with the Python language is expected, with the practice of some mathematical python frameworks such as Numpy and Scipy. Knowledge and practice of C++, agile development methodologies, and web services architectures is also appreciated.
The candidate should be comfortable with working in an English-speaking and highly creative environment.
