[ORBEL19 conference, January 27-28, 2005 - Call for papers]
Dear colleagues,
On behalf of SOGESCI-BVWB, the Belgian Operations Research Society, we would like to invite you to participate to our annual conference ORBEL 19 which will take in Louvain-la-Neuve on January 27-28, 2005. The conference is a meeting place for researchers, users and potential users of Operations Research, and will provide a unique opportunity to exchange information on quantitative techniques for decision making.
CALL for PAPERS

Contributed presentations
Parallel sessions will be devoted to all aspects of Operations Research (theory and practice). Each contributed talk will be allocated 25 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of discussion time. Standard overhead and LCD projectors will be available.
Authors are invited to submit their abstracts on the conference web page

before December 3, 2004 (up to two A4 pages in plain text or LaTeX format). Alternatively, abstracts can be sent by email to orbel19@core.ucl.ac.be

Organized sessions
In addition to contributed sessions, the conference will feature organized sessions consisting of three invited talks on a single or several closely related topics, in order to produce a more coherent and interesting program.
We invite you to set up such a session in your domain of expertise by sending the titles and speaker names of the three talks that constitute the session to orbel19@core.ucl.ac.be (abstracts should be submitted the usual way).

Moreover, on Friday afternoon, all participants are invited to attend the celebration of EURO's 30th anniversary. This event will take place in Brussels.

SOGESCI-B.V.W.B. membership is mandatory for all conference participants.
Standard registration with 2005 membership fee EUR 140
Standard registration without 2005 membership fee EUR 85
(only if you are already a 2005 member or if your
membership is covered by an institutional 2005 membership)
Student registration including free 2005 membership fee EUR 30
Registration for retired members with 2005 membership fee EUR 115
All registration fees include two lunches, coffee breaks and the
conference booklet. The SOGESCI-B.V.W.B. membership includes a yearly subscription to the 4OR journal

(will take place on the evening of Thursday, January 27, 2005)
Late registration fee EUR 25
(for any registration received after December 24, 2004)
