The Department of Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (URL: http://www.iese.uiuc.edu) invites applications for several full-time faculty positions in all traditional and emerging areas of industrial and enterprise systems engineering, including Optimization, Networks, Operations Research, Energy Markets, Financial and Service Engineering. Priorities of the appointments will be given to well-qualified senior candidates with outstanding records and international stature. Applications from candidates at mid-career level with an emerging strong research track record as well as recent doctoral graduates with outstanding academic credentials and exceptional promise will also be considered. Successful applicants for full professor positions are expected to be leading scholars in their fields, have a solid record of and commitment to significant externally funded research programs, and maintain strong interests in interdisciplinary collaborations. Applicants for junior positions must have the ability to teach effectively at both the graduate and undergraduate levels and to initiate and carry out independent research. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. All candidates must have a Ph.D. degree; they should include in the package of application a statement of teaching and research interests, curriculum vitae, a publication list, and names of four references. Review of applications will begin on December 30, 2007.
