Assistant Professor
Industrial Engineering
The Department of Industrial Engineering at Dalhousie University invites
applications for a probationary tenure-track position at the Assistant
Professor level. The job responsibility includes teaching, research, and
academic administration.
The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate in industrial
engineering or a closely related field with a research focus in the areas
of reliability and maintenance. The successful candidate should be able to
teach courses in reliability and maintenance, operations research,
engineering economics and other areas of basic industrial engineering.
Previous academic experience is desirable. Eligibility for registration
with Engineers Nova Scotia is essential.
Duties will include teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
and research in the area of industrial engineering. Please refer to
