Dear Colleagues,

The Ecole des Mines Saint-Etienne (Campus of Gardanne - near Aix-en-Provence, Bouches-du-Rhône, France) is opening a position for an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) in Operations Research - Department of Manufacturing Sciences and Logistics (SFL/ CMP) with an attachment to UMR CNRS 6158 LIMOS.

The SFL team develops models and algorithms for optimization and decision support for production, logistics and transport. The team has strong international recognition in operations research for production planning and scheduling and for transportation and logistics. It is also recognized for its numerous industrial collaborations (ST Microelectronics, SNCF, CMA-CGM, DecisionBrain, DMS Logistics, Michelin, etc.).

We encourage all applications with a very good level in Operations Research/Industrial Engineering (in research) with knowledge of Data Science (for teaching), without restriction of nationality.

The recruited person will strengthen the activity of the team in Gardanne in close collaboration with the department colleagues in order to develop original research works combining combinatorial optimization, industrial engineering and data science. She/he will have to work in close relationship with French industrial partners in production and logistics (rail, maritime, port and urban logistics), with strong expectations for the semiconductor manufacturing.
