M2 internship at NAVER LABS Europe - Multimodal trip planning
Forum 'Stages' - Sujet créé le 2017-11-21 par vlehoux
Description
When speaking of multimodality, many studies refer to interweaving public transit only with walking[Bast et al. 2014]. At NAVER LABS, we consider that sequences of modes including many other possibilities are very relevant in the context of smart cities (bike sharing, car sharing, taxis, car pooling, etc.).
NAVER LABS Europe is pursuing research to enhance the multimodal experience of NAVER Map users, designing and improving models and algorithms for multimodal trip planning. The aim of this internship is to join the Multimodal Mobility project and work on the multimodal and personalization aspects of the existing planner.
Requirements
As part of the 2nd year of your Master's Degree, or final year of your Engineering School, you're looking for an internship lasting 5 or 6 months. Ideally, your diploma has a major in computer science and/or applied mathematics with some courses on operational research topics.
As prototypes are to be implemented, working knowledge of Rust programming language is a plus and the candidate must be autonomous and motivated by optimization, innovation and research.
