A Ph.D. position is available at IMT-Atlantique. The proposed PhD focuses on the supply chain resilience design and management in a Brittle, Anxious, Non-linear, and Incomprehensible (BANI) world. This thesis will be carried out in collaboration with industrial partners (AIRBUS, TRONICO, and CONTINENTAL) and technology providers within ACCURATE, an Horizon-Europe funded Research and Innovation project. In addition, the thesis involves traveling several times per year in Europe to meet with the partners of the ACCURATE project.

The thesis will be supervised by Valeria Borodin, Simon Thevenin, and Alexandre Dolgui. The Ph.D. student will do his thesis in Nantes. The position is for three years from October, but a late start is possible.
Candidates must have a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline. Candidates must demonstrate good programming skills and good knowledge of operational research (mathematical programming, stochastic optimization, metaheuristics, etc.).
