About the job

Within the Quantum Software and Applications team, you will be instrumental to extend the field of applications of PASQAL’s Quantum Processor. This implies working on existing applications and developing new ones; your focus will initially be mainly in the field of Operational Research and related applications.

You will be in charge of the technical relationship with existing clients and lead R&D projects with prospective ones. 

You will work in close collaboration with the Engineering and Business Development teams and with external partners, along all phases of the projects.


This position is a job creation, to foster the growth of PASQAL’s activity.

• Location: Palaiseau (Southern Paris area – France)
• Start date: position January 2025
• Type of contract: permanent contract

Requirements

• MSc or a PhD in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics or in a related field;
• Previous comparable experience in a similar position

The successful candidate will have a strong taste for Applied Mathematics and Operational research, and a keen interest in deep tech and new technologies.

Your main scientific and technical skills are in algorithms development, numerical simulations and report / documentation writing.

In this position you will build upon your interpersonal skills and ability to manage projects in cooperation with internal and external partners.

Notions of quantum computing, atomic physics and optics are a plus.
English fluency is required for this position that implies numerous contacts with international partners.
