24 Hours OR
Forum 'Annonces' - Sujet créé le 2008-01-09
Horst W. Hamacher from the University of Kaiserslautern, has started the web page "24 Hours OR" at
http://optimierung.mathematik.uni-kl.de/EURO24OR/.
The idea of the web page is to promote Operations Research and its potential in problem solving for all kinds of problems and to use this page as part of our public relation initiative to show the public, in particular young people and decision makers in (European and national) politics what OR is about. This project is also supported by EURO.
Certainly, metaheuristics deserve a prominent place on this website, having successfully solved so many problems. Please consider therefore proposing a project to be added to the "24 Hours OR" website.
If you need more information please visit
