CALL FOR PAPERS
**Special Issue of Computers & Operations Research**
**Subject: Hybrid Metaheuristics**
The term hybrid metaheuristic refers to the combination of a
metaheuristic with another technique for optimization. Hybrid
metaheuristics currently enjoy an increasing interest in the
optimization community (as documented by the recent appearence of
conferences and workshops such as CP-AI-OR or HM). However, research on
hybrid metaheuristics is still in its early days. Approaches are
sometimes still pre-mature and a substantial amount of further research
is necessary in order to develop clearly structured hybrid
metaheuristics that can be generally used to tackle optimization
problems. This special issue is dedicated to present recent interesting
work in that line.
Authors should submit their paper via EES
http://www.ees.elsevier.com/cor and select "Special Issue: Hybrid
Metaheuristics" when asked to indicate the "Article Type" in the
submission process. Submitted papers should not have been previously
published nor be currently under consideration for publication
elsewhere. Refereeing and the selection of papers will be carried out
according to the standards of Computers & Operations Research.
