2009 Lagrange Prize in Continuous Optimization
pour son article
A sum of squares approximation of nonnegative polynomials, SIAM Journal on Optimization 16 (2006), 751-765.
The prize is awarded every three years, jointly by MPS and SIAM. This year the presentation will take place at the ISMP opening ceremony in Chicago on August 23.
Selection committee: Adrian Lewis (Chair), Jorge Moré, Philippe Toint, and Margaret Wright, and the choice was approved by the executive committees of both societies.
