An international Symposium on Combinatorial Optimization will be held in Hammamet, Tunisia, March 24-26, 2010. The symposium aims to bring together researchers from combinatorial optimization, and from related fields of operations research and linear and integer programming. It is intended to be a forum for the exchange of recent scientific developments and for the discussion of new trends. The scope of the conference includes all aspects of combinatorial optimization from fundamental research to numerical applications.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
Approximation algorithms
Branch-and-Bound algorithms
Branch-and-Cut-and-Price algorithms
Heuristic and metaheuristic algorithms
Computational complexity
Computational biology
Computational geometry
Cutting plane algorithms
Graph and network algorithms
Linear and integer programming
Interior point methods
On-line algorithms and competitive analysis
Polyhedral combinatorics
Randomized algorithms
Scheduling algorithms
Combinatorial optimization applications
(Scheduling, Network design, Operations planning, Suplly chain models, Telecommunications, ...)

Call for papers
You are invited to submit short papers (extended abstracts) (6 to 8 pages) describing their current research in Combinatorial Optimization. This can be related to recent developments in theory, computational studies, application settings or a combination of these. A paper submitted at this conference is expected to be original research not previously published. All the papers will be peer reviewed. The accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings.
For submission, please follow the link indicated on the web site.
You are also invited to organize sessions on special topics, for this please send an email to
isco@lamsade.dauphine.fr
Proceedings
Proceedings containing the accepted extended abstracts will be published in the electronic journal: Electronic Notes on Discrete Mathematics (ENDM)
<http://www.elsevier.com/wps/find/journaldescription.cws_home/681020/description#description>
A selection of papers will be published in special issues. More informations will be given soon.
